Climpson & Sons are specialty coffee experts and London coffee shop originals. We source some of the world’s most exceptional coffees and roast them in Hackney. Climpson & Sons are industry leaders and pioneers, challenging the boundaries of possibility in specialty drinks through our sustainable approaches and focus on quality, flavour and hospitality.

Climpson & Sons have always been advocates for quality and flavour, our early pop-ups at Climpson’s Arch were a nod to our love of food, this is our nod to drinks. When the cafe doors close and the bar door opens we have you covered with our range of Climpson’s coffee based drinks, after hours.  

The After Hours project is based on a combining coffee with alcohol, using the skills we have learnt in coffee production and taking them through other processes and recipes in the aim of creating quality beverages made from scratch using premium ingredients and a hands on approach.

OUR PRODUCTION

We have sourced our coffee from all over the world, so we have a plethora to choose from; for the After Hours range we have chosen a coffee from Brazil, it’s profile works well with stronger flavours and has a well rounded, full bodied mouthfeel. Also, Daterra Estate is a very sustainable and ethical coffee farm. We source organic cacao nibs from Peru, and bourbon vanilla from Madagascar.

Our production is in our roastery in London Fields, we hand make small batches of liqueur and espresso martini to order to ensure quality control.

Our products made from premium natural ingredients, all from scratch. We brew our coffee using a unique brewing method which we have developed which allows us to make quality brewed coffee on scale.

EAST LONDON LIQUOR COMPANY

Climpson & Sons has teamed up with our neighbours East London Liquor Company (ELLC). Another company with a similar ethos to ours; high quality, accessible, local. We have combined forces to make both the Espresso Martini and the Midnight Oil coffee liqueur, a combination of ELLC’s Demerara rum from Guyana and our coffee from Daterra Estate, Brazil. A triple process rum coffee liqueur with cacao nibs and vanilla.
